Between Autumn 2007 and February 2008, on commission of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, Slori and the Friulian Philological Association carried out the Research on the linguistic communities of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in which collaborated 3.000 adults living in Municipalities where the Slovenian, Friulian and German speaking communities live. This is the first example of a synchronically conducted and methodologically coordinated research carried out in an area in Italy that is populated by Slovenians, Friulians and German speaking communities.
