The book is a practical guide about the Slovene community in Italy and is especially aimed at young people who want to know more about this world. The guide starts from the basic concepts of “Slovene” and “minority”, and takes the reader through the diversified world of minorities at a European level, helping him/her to get to know the ways of life and ways of expression of the Slovene minority in Italy. The colourful images together with the informal language give the idea of a varied and dynamic community. The reader also receives an enclosure of an address book of the Slovene associations and organisations in Italy and information about Slovene courses to follow.
