Within the working groups of the Programmatic conference (2002-2003) were carried out three field research projects: youth, economy and culture.

Maja Mezgec, Daša Bolčina, Zaira Vidali and Anna Wehrenfennig developed a survey among the pupils of Slovene-language senior secondary schools; by means of the present survey the authoresses research the young peoples’ attitudes towards the Slovene minority and the degree of their inclusion within the minority system.

Maksimiljan Gulič has analyzed the situation and the perspectives of the Slovene economy in, based on the results of a survey developed among the Slovene shopkeepers and commercial enterprises.

By means of a quantitative empirical research, Emidio Sussi has studied some dimensions of the cultural and educational associations on the whole territory in, characterised by the presence of the Slovene ethnic community.

The results of the research projects were published in the book Mladi, gospodarstvo, kultura. Analiza stanja za razvoj slovenske manjšine v Italiji (Norina Bogatec and Emidio Sussi ed.).
