The volume contains two research cases on the diffusion of various media among Slovenes in Italy. The first survey carried out by Norina Bogatec, identifies the frequency and the listening figures of radio programmes in the Slovene language transmitted by Radio Trst A, and also indicates the viewing figures of regional TV programmes in Slovene in the provinces of Trieste, Gorizia and Udine. On the other hand, the research undertaken by Breda Susic among the students of the Slovene-language high schools in Trieste and Gorizia, summarizes the diffusion and use of computers, Internet and mobile telephones, paying special attention to the communication language used.
