The work presents the important role the Slovene bank Jadranska banka (the Adriatic Bank) had in the past; it also calls the attention of the reader on the present relationship between the majority and minority in the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia and specifically in the town of Trieste. Fascism destroyed what was set up during the Habsburg Empire. In the last ten years a structural reorganization was operated.
