Research and promotional project

Project promoter: SLORI-Slovenski raziskovalni inštitut
Project performers: SLORI-Slovenski raziskovalni inštitut, Corecom FVG
Project implementation period: 2009

The project is promoted by the Slori (Slovene Research Institute) in cooperation with the CORECOM FVG (Regional Communication Committee). It is co-financed by the Trieste province in the framework of the “Regulation for the concession of contributions, conventions and economic advantages to public and private subjects, in appliance of article 12 of the Law 241/90”. The project envisages the development of a publication and the organisation of a conference on the theme of young people in the Trieste province.

The publication will collect a series of contributions regarding some recent researches, which tackled the problem of young people residing in this area. The authors of the article are Corrado Candian, Franco Del Campo and the researchers of the Slori – Slovene research institute Devan Jagodic, Maja Mezgec and Zaira Vidali. These are researches, which develop different contents and methodological approaches but with one single objective: try to understand and analyse the different facets characterising the variegated universe of the young people in the province, region and cross-border area. The project foresees also a bilingual publication with abstracts in English at the end of the book. The publication will be presented to the public during a special conference to be held in December 2009. The programme will see a morning session and an afternoon session. In the morning session the results gathered during the five researches will be presented, whereas in the afternoon the participants will confront the themes discussed in the morning within a round table.
