The Institutional Joint Committee for the problems of the Slovene minority commissioned a verification of the implementation of the protection in favour of the Slovene minority, defined in Article 8 of the Law n. 38, dated 23rd February 2001. The area of the mentioned research study includes all the local administrative (Region, Province, Municipalities) and judicial authorities and all the national administrations, which are to implement the mentioned Article 8 of the Law n. 38/2001, and which are included in the area of the 32 Municipalities in the Trieste, Gorizia and Udine provinces defined by the DPR dated 12th September 2007 and approved in the list of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Municipalities, where the Slovene minority protection measures are applied.
The verification will be carried out for all the cases of use of the Slovene language in the relations between the public administration and the citizens: in the oral and written communication, in public acts and measures, in the forms and in the official notices and communications.
