For this research project, we performed a survey of the professional education offer in Slovenia and in the Region FVG from the perspective of cross-border mobility. The contents treated were the following: professional education on a European level, in Italy, in Slovenia (general frame and type of professional education offered); comparison of systems between Italy and Slovenia: recognition of diplomas, titles and professional qualifications; transmission of educational credits; inclusion in professional training in the cross-border area between Italy and Slovenia; characteristics of the labour market in the Region FVG and in Slovenia; opportunities and deficiencies of professional training systems in the Region FVG and in Slovenia; limits of cross-border educational processes ITA-SLO.
