In the framework of the “PoMaliMATURI” project, which SLORI is implementing in cooperation with the headmasters of upper secondary schools with Slovene and Slovene-Italian bilingual teaching languages, we have also collected data on the further education of third-graders after the completion of upper secondary school in 2023.
The aim of the project is to gain insight into students’ satisfaction with their schooling, to explore which upper secondary course they have chosen and which will be the language of instruction for their further education, and to examine the reasons that influenced this choice. The data collected are used to comprehensively monitor pupils’ preferences and motivations in choosing further education.
This is the third year of the project in the school year 2022/2023. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire, which was answered by students in the third year of the first cycle of secondary schools with Slovene as the language of instruction in the province of Trieste and Gorizia, and with Slovene-Italian bilingual classes in Špeter/San Pietro al Natisone.
