The training programme, which was intended for public sector employees, was implemented for the third consecutive year by SLORI on behalf of the Autonomous Province of FVG and the INSIEL Company. As in previous years, this year’s implementation included two 20-hour courses, the first of which was aimed at employees at the so-called Slovene-language counters, and the second for employees in administrative services. Both courses were primarily based on the use of the Slovene language in public administration, with an important segment devoted to terminology and learning how to use various language tools. The pedagogical team consisted of Matejka Grgič, Helena Dobrovoljc, Gregor Geč, Andreja Kalc, Dafne Marko, Sandro Paolucci and Damjan Popič, with lectures co-designed by translators working at the FVG Central Office for the Slovene Language: Jana Černe, Fedra Paclich, Laura Sgubin, Eva Srebrnič in Tanja Sternad.

The 2021 edition also included two 20-hour courses, the first for Slovene-language counter staff and the second for administrative staff. Both programmes were based on the training of grammar and spelling skills using a range of freely available language tools and resources, in response to the wishes of participants expressed in last year’s survey. The programme was also supplemented by broader topics that the organisers wanted to use to achieve the goals of more holistic care for Slovene in the workplace.
