SLORI is pleased to announce a thesis competition for Bologna second- and third-cycle degrees and four-year bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees theses. Candidates are invited to submit their theses which make a significant or original contribution to the understanding of the Slovene community in Italy, its social structure, internal functions, settlement area and social space, as well as its development processes in the social, cultural, political, economic, legal and educational fields, inter-ethnic relations, identity, language practices and communication. The thesis may also focus on other minority-related studies, in which case it should entail a comparison with the Slovene community in Italy or raise awareness of the situation of the Slovene community in Italy.
SLORI will award the winning theses (bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral) with the following monetary prizes:
– 2nd-cycle university degree or four-year programme degree or Master’s thesis: 250€ (up to 2, totalling 500€);
– 3rd-cycle university degree or doctoral thesis: 500 € (up to 2, totalling 1.000€).
