The book is the result of the author\u2019s interest in historical processes which permeated the Karst rural areas and had, at the same time, a universal note. The author was stimulated by the work of the development association <em>Razvojno dru\u0161tvo Pliska<\/em> from Pliskovica, which started to search the roots of the village inhabitants and their relatives in Argentina.
