Since 2008, she has\nworked at the School of Humanities of the University of Nova Gorica as a\nlecturer of Slovene as a second\/foreign language, a teaching assistant in\nSlovene literature, as well as in Literature didactics and Language didactics.\nCurrently she is Full Professor of Slovene for foreigners. She has taught\nSlovene and History in Slovene-language schools in Italy for many years. She is\npart of the editorial team of the magazine <em>The Slovene language at school<\/em>\n(Sloven\u0161\u010dina v \u0161oli), which is published by the Slovene National Education\nInstitute. Her fields of interest include the development of national identity\nand intercultural competencies, didactics of the Slovene language and empirical\nresearch relating to education in the contact area between the Slovene and the\nItalian language.
